Author: Jenny Han
Series: To All The Boys
Publishing house: Simon & Schuster Books
Jenny Han tells us the story of Lara Jean, a sixteen-year-old teenager who dreams of romance, but who has never had a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship with anyone. A fight with her sister, and her love letters are sent by mail, one of them addressed to her older sister's ex-boyfriend, Margot. To avoid confusion, she fakes a relationship with Peter Kavinsky. From that moment her life changes, if only for a moment.
The author of history introduces us to Lara Jean an innocent, introverted and very mature girl despite her age. Also, we have Peter K., one of the popular high school guys, outgoing, charismatic and fun, makes Lara's life a little more fun. Jenny Han did a great job bringing the characters to life, not only because they kept their personalities intact through the books, she also made them grow and mature during the saga.

These books are narrated from the perspective of Lara, and although at first I found everything very innocent and pink, I think that through books and as Lara was growing these decreased. In the same way, this happened with the family dynamics of the Covey (Lara's family), where everything seemed so perfect, but, as you go through the books, you realize that this is NOT SO.
Even if in these books there was no action or a great drama with a thousand things getting in the way of the protagonist's relationship, they did keep me with the creeps, hoping to know how the story was going to end (especially the third one, where I felt there was only black and white) And although there were several clichés, (because it is clear that these will always exist), there were not as many as I thought they would exist in the beginning. Also, there were parts that left me surprised, because although it is not the big turn in the plot, if there were events that I didn't think would happen.
Jenny Han's writing makes these books easy and quick to read.
To All the Boys is a serie of books that ultimately maintains the innocence of what may be first romances and how complicated they can become.
