Summary

4.5/5

The Darkest Hour is the last book of Warrior Cats first series! Is definitely the most intense book of all the saga, suspense is in every page of the book, specially in the last chapters! I couldn’t stop reading for days! Mysteries, dander and answers is what we can expect of this book.

Fireheart is now Firestar, the leader of Thunderclan. Now he has more responsibilities in the clan, he has more challenges on his way, nut the worst is coming! Tigerstar is planning something big, the worst, Riverclan supports him… Tigerstar is not going to surrender to defeat Thunderclan, he is going to do everything, the impossible to have all forest under his paws.

Firestar has many test to prove that he deserve the title of leader, he has many doubts about his new position. But a prophecy and a vision make him act, he has to defeat Tigerstar, his enemy.

<< Tiger Star is determined to become the king of the forest. Hopefully there is a battle >> -The Darkest Hour, Erin Hunter

This book does not have many action as I wanted, because I expected more battles, more suspense. This book talk more about how Firestar feels about everything of what is going on, his thoughts. Even if the book does not have action, it has mystery, Firestar has to search a way to defeat his enemy, not everything is easy, and he wants answers. I didn’t like the end of the book, I expected more, it really let me disappointed. But, at the end (after meditated the situation), I understood why Erin Hunter, made what she did, she let us a lesson about life, that I really liked.

This book was special ,because we get to know all the potential Firestar has, ¡after six books! The Darkest Hour left me a lot of feelings, especially love, many characters of the book stole one part of my heart and, even if I didn’t like the end of the saga, I would read the series again.

I hope dreamers you can read this beautiful saga, they are book that let my imagination flew away.
