<<“Stay with the High Lord, human. That’s all you can do. You will be safe. Do not interfere, do not go looking for answers after today, or you will be devoured by the shadow over Prythian. He will shield you from it, so stay close to him, and all will be righted”>>

Synopsis
Feyre's survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill – the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price ...
Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. Feyre's presence at the court is closely guarded, and as she begins to learn why, her feelings for him turn from hostility to passion and the faerie lands become an even more dangerous place. Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or she will lose him forever.

ACOTAR is the first book of a saga with the same name. For been the first book, the first half of the book describes us the world this story develops, from the perspective of Feyre. Who tell us how she sees everything that surrounds her. This part it isn’t bored like you may thing, on the contrary, it is really exciting to read this. Because, the world of the faeries is magical, a world full of colors, of mythical creatures, of nature.
Like I mention before, the book is narrated from the perspective of Feyre, that means that everything is new for her. So, we read everything with the amazed eyes of Feyre. For example, if she sees a lake full of colors, we read how amazed she is by the strange color of the lake, how pretty it can be a weird lake like that, between others. I loved how Sarah describes everything in this book, we really imagine everything that happens, we feel what Feyre feels, it may sound weird, but, I was so into the book, that I can tell you that I heard what Feyre describes on the book. I mean, the way Sarah writes in this book is really good, that good that made me imagine every single thing that happened on the book.
This book may not have a lot of exciting scenes, but, definitely has suspense. Feyre been the only human on a world full of magic, means that she is exposed to a lot of danger. First, faeries hate humans. Second, there are evil creatures that are attracted to the weakest minds of humans. Third, there are creature that want to eat human flesh. So, the faerie world can be beautiful but dangerous for humans.
Also, ACOTAR is a book full of romance. All the book develops within the love story of Tamlin and Feyre. What I like is that this characters has to spend time together to fall in love, it wasn’t love at first sight, Also, Tamlin is not the typical bad boy, he is a gentleman, a man who is gentle and considered, a man who cared about his beloved one. And Feyre, is not the typical girl who has to be rescue from the villian, she is strong, and she has really good instincts.
ACOTAR may be the introduction to a saga, but, it is definitely the book you read if you want to enter a world full of magic and mysteries.
